Sally Davidson – Owner
As a child, Sally was known to play tirelessly in the garden creating little fairy worlds with mountains, lakes, bridges and ornamental features in the most intricate of detail. All of this whilst feasting on the natural goodness of organic baby carrots, abundant gooseberries and green snap peas out of her grandmother's veggie patch. In her teenage years she discovered Permaculture and transformed her parents orchard into a sustainable agricultural ecosystem complete with chicken coup, worm farm, and went on to dabble in natural pesticides as well as lunar planting.
It was no surprise when Sally, in her adult years, decided to study in this field as she seemed unable to go anywhere without wanting to manicure and perfect the landscape she saw around her.
Sally acknowledges that the wilderness is her true inspiration and she endeavoures to bring nature back into our living spaces through her holistic approach. This approach is used to unify the natural, cultural and built environments present in a project allowing her to design people orientated spaces that are responsive to, and engage with nature. The result is a sustainable, usable and resilient landscape.
